Children's Center Lead Teacher

The Fessenden Children’s Center is seeking a Lead Teacher for our Preschool team on a full-time basis, 40 hours a week for the full year. The person in this role must be able to demonstrate competency in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes child growth and development in the following areas: language self-help and interpersonal problem-solving, cognitive, creative expression, and social/emotional skills. A Lead Teacher must be able to work cooperatively with others in both a team teaching setting and within the Center as a whole, be responsible, innovative, creative, and maintain a professional work environment.

The person in this role must be able to demonstrate competency in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes child growth and development in the following areas: language self-help and interpersonal problem-solving, cognitive, creative expression, and social/emotional skills. A Teacher must be able to work cooperatively with others in both a team teaching setting and within the Center as a whole, be responsible, innovative, creative, and maintain a professional work environment.

CHILDREN’S CENTER TEACHER

Children's Center Substitute Teacher

Fessenden Children’s Center seeks Substitute Teachers to join the team. Responsibilities will include implementing daily activities that assist the children between 12 weeks and 5 years-old  with mastery of age-appropriate developmental milestones. A Children’s Center Teacher must have great love and patience for children. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and developmental milestones as well as the ability to engage them and earn their love and trust.
